Motivating Your Spiritual Growth

Being spiritual, does not mean being religious, nor does it mean being fanatical. It simply means getting more in tune with the part of yourself that The Most High created for intimacy between you and Him. It is a plane that brings one emotional and psychological stability and great satisfaction. It is a level that is so beautiful and special, no words can physically nor adequately describe it. Reaching this sphere can be, and is quite an exciting journey for you to take with the Most High YAH. I challenge you to explore this spiritual adventure and see where it leads you.

Some Motivations Are:

1. Keep a Journal.

The first thing you want to write down: 5 things you need to make you happy at this point in your life.

Make notes of expectations of yourself.

Make notes of the best qualities of yourself.

Make notes of the negative things that are holding you back.

Make a list of your personal prayer request.

Make a list of 3 personal things you need done immediately that would change your life for the best.

Make a list of things you can do right now to improve your quality of life.

Make a list of 7 Scriptures that can help you achieve your goals.

2. Take an uninterrupted ten minutes a day for yourself and your Creator. Learn to listen to Yourself think.

 

   7 Days to More YAH Consciousness

Day I

A Day Of Concentration

This day I give myself completely to You, O YAH. I submit my thoughts, my ways and all of life concerns to You and You Alone. I meditate on Proverbs 3:6. In all of my ways I acknowledge You. O YAH, and You will direct my path. I align myself to become more conscious of You.

Day 2

A Day of Affirmation

Affirmations are only positive statements that will put you into a very positive mind and align your thinking with the Word of YAH.

Read Proverbs 4: 20-24 and affirm.

I affirm that I will attend unto Your Words and incline my ear unto Your sayings.

I affirm that I will not let Your Words depart from my eyes; I will keep them in the midst of my heart.

I affirm that Your Words are life to those that find them, and health to all of my flesh.

I affirm that I will protect my heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the issues of my life.

Day 3

A Day of Awareness

I will be aware of all of Your promises unto me, O YAH.

Read Psalm 1. Be Aware

I am aware that I am blessed as long as I walk not in the counsel of the ungodly; neither stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.

I am aware that my delight is in Your Law. In Your Law will I meditate day and night.

I am aware that I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth fruit in my season; my leaf shall not wither; and Whatever I Do Will Prosper.

You know the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Again I affirm, Whatever I Do Will Prosper.

Day 4

A Day of Thanksgiving

I will spend this day in giving of thanks unto You, O YAH.

Meditation: Psalm 118:1, 6,7, 24

I will give You thanks, O YAH, because You are good and Your mercy endureth forever to the Hebrew Yisraelite People.

I give You thanks because You are on my side and I will not fear what man can do unto me.
I give You thanks because You will destroy those that hate me.

This is the day that You have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Todah unto You, O YAH for all things.

Day 5


A Day of Reflection

This day, I will spend in reflection on my life and all of the things that You have done for me, O YAH. I will reflect on all that You have brought me through. I will reflect upon all that You have done for the Hebrew Yisraelite People. I will reflect upon all of Your blessings that You have showered on me.


Day 6


A Day of Singing

Singing YAH's praises evoke the right now presence of YAH into our lives. In Psalm 100 You give instruction on how one is to worship You, O YAH.

We see that You like noise.  Joyful noise made from a joyful spirit. You are the Author of Joy. Regardless of the lands where we have been scattered, from that land, You want a joyful noise made unto You.

We are to serve You with gladness, regardless of our circumstances and situations. We are to find something about You that brings gladness to our spirits. We are to come before Your Presence with Singing.

I will sing of Your Love, Mercy, Kindness and Goodness to me. I will sing out of Your Psalms with melodies You will give me. This is a day for singing.


Day 7

A Day of Praise And Testimony

This day I will Praise You. I will make known Your Good and Blessing among those I come in contact with. I will brag on Your Commandments. I will testify of Your Righteousness. I will brag on Your Good. I will magnify Your Law. I will Praise You this day. O YAH.

I entreat You, O YAH, to let my prayers be set forth before You as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2
