The Hebrew Yisraelite People have a very rich spiritual heritage to draw from, pass on to our children and descendants. We can find encouragement, strength, hope, power, fortitude, and wisdom from the recorded prayers of our forefathers, foremothers and prophets in theTanakh.
Abraham's Healing Prayer
Genesis 20:17 So Abraham prayed unto YAH: and YAH healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bear children.
O YAH, I glorify You for the praying ancestors of the Hebrew Yisraelite People. We have the right as well as the privilege to pray for each other and those that you use to be a blessing to us. We should never miss an opportunity to pray for one another. Prayer lines do not belong in heathen camps where they worship and pray to pagan deities that can not hear, see. nor heal. We, the Hebrew Yisraelite People serve the Holy One Of Yisrael, You, are our Only True Healer. HalleluYAH!! I entreat You to give us healing words for one another. I pray for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House of Yisrael.
Isaac's Prayer
Genesis 25:21 And Isaac entreated YAH for his wife, because she was barren: and YAH was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.I praise You Mighty YAH! The Strong's Concordance #679 says to entreat means to make prayer We also know that the word entreat means to ask earnestly. The Hebrew Yisraelite People are a Special Covenant People. You delight in our prayer request. We praise you for hearing and answering our prayers. You desire that we entreat you for all of the barren places in our lives, and give You glory and praise for all things. I pray for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House of Yisrael.
Jacob's Prayer
Genesis 32:10 I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which You have showed unto Your servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. O YAH, help me to humble myself before You always. Our father Jacob was an humble man in Your presence. He realized that all of his blessings came from You and because of the Truth that You alone had revealed unto him. You have blessed the Hebrew Yisraelite People with Your Truth and have multiplied us into many bands. Help us to humble ourselves that we may understand that we are not worthy of Your mercies. Todah for Your streams of living water that flow abundantly in our lives, bringing us blessings that we can not count. HalleluYAH!! I entreat You for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House of Yisrael.
Rebekah's Prayer
Genesis 25:23 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, if it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of YAH.
O YAH, You alone are the Savior of the Hebrew Yisraelite People. When our mother Rebekah did not understand what was going on with her, she was not afraid nor did she hesitate to come to You. She understood her pregnancy was Your Will for her life. Rebekah could not understand why a blessing from You would cause such pain and trouble. She wanted to know, if her pregnancy was from You, why were there so many complications? The Hebrew Yisraelite People, over the centuries, have come to You with many questions concerning our circumstances. We must come to You to receive complete understanding of what is going on with us. You alone have the answers and solutions we need. HalleluYAH!! I entreat You for my family, Our Leaderes and the Whole House of Yisrael.
Moses' Prayers
Deuteronomy 9:18 And I fell down before YAH, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread nor drink water, because of all your sins which you sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of YAH, to provoke him to anger.
I magnify Your righteousness, O YAH. Here is the role that Your Chosen Leaders should follow in leading and teaching the Hebrew Yisraelite People. Our lives should be full of fasting and prayer and crying out for the sins of Yisrael. The love that Moses had for us superseded all else in his life. Moses goes on to say that he was afraid of the wrath that YAH had against our forefathers. He stayed before YAH, until YAH heard him. Arron and all of our people would have been destroyed if not for the prayers of Moses. Do we not realize that our prayers do save others from horrible things?
Deuteronomy 9:26 I prayed therefore unto YAH, and said, O YAH G-D, destroy not your people and thine inheritance, which You have redeemed through Your Greatness, which You have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. Moses goes on to ask YAH to remember Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:
What a powerful prayer! Questions for pounder? Did jc praying at any time in the NT(new testament) ask YAH to remember Abraham, Isaac or Jacob in one sentence? Did he ever address YAH as The Holy One of Yisrael? Did he ever pray for the nation of Yisrael?
YAH be praised. I pray for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House Of Yisrael.
Joshua's Prayer
Joshua 7:7-8 And Joshua said, Alas,
O YAH G-D, wherefore have You at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Would to G-D we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan! O YAH, what shall I say when Yisrael turneth their backs before their enemies!
O YAH, all Glory unto You and unto Your Law! Joshua was confounded at the progress of the Ancient Hebrew Yisraelites. We had come over Jordan, yet we could not defeat the Amorites. The men of Ai had chased us from their gate and killed about thirty six of us. This was shameful. Joshua knew that YAH had promised to give us total victory over all of our enemies and give us their land as our possession. He sought the counsel of YAH. It was revealed to Joshua that sin was in the camp.
Our transgressions, sins and iniquity have always held us back from total victory in all things O YAH, I pray that as You spoke to Joshua, You will speak to the Hebrew Yisraelite People today and allow each of us to know what stands in the way of our individual progress. I entreat You to speak to Our Leaders and allow them to know what stands in the way of our nation's total restoration, repentance and return unto You. I pray for for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House of Yisrael.
Hannah's Prayer
1 Samuel 2:1-2 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in YAH, mine horn is exalted in YAH: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in Your salvation. There is none Holy as YAH: for there is none beside You; neither is there any rock like our YAH.
O YAH, You have engraved the Hebrew Yisraelite People in the palm of Your hand. Our cries are ever before You. Our mother Hannah had prayed for a son and promised to give him to You all of the days of his life. She kept her promise and gave Samuel as a gift unto You and the Hebrew Yisraelite People. Samuel loved You and the nation of Yisrael all of the days of his life. He anointed Davis as king over all Yisrael. I pray the mothers who give birth dedicate their children to You O YAH, that they may be used as You see fit. I entreat You for my family, Our Leaders and the Whole House of Yisrael.
